Wink Full Synthetic

Well, took the truck to the dealers for it's annual state inspection , oil change, tire rotation and any flash updates that were available. I ended up switching to full synthetic Amsoil...Wow, what a difference. It seems to run smoother and quieter (engine that is, not the exhaust since I have the 14" mufflex). I have an early build 09 and didnt have the fuel saver light and they updated my ECM so now I have that as well. They also did the HVAC recall and checked my puddle lamps ( another recall which mine were fine), and are ordering the two manifold bolts that need replaced. The dealer I bought my truck from is out in the country and thier main concern is the customer. They even allow you to hang out in the garage while the mechanic is working on your truck....You won't find many that due (insurance purposes etc..).

Anyway, my truck only has 11,000 miles on it....The amsoil oil change cost me $70.00 but it is good for at least 10,000 miles so you end up saving money in the long run...

Nice change out. You'll like how the truck runs on synthetic.

Consider doing your differentials with synthetic.

If you still have warranty, you cannot go 10,000 between oil changes. Also I don't know why you would want to. The oil still gets dirty, synthetic or not.
