Default Input on these ball joints...

I want to get new ball joints, and found some, a unique seller on eBay infact. They almost look like carli ball joints. moog ones are supposedly High quality replacements and it would cost me $168.56 shipped from rockauto to have moogs.

Well this seller, would only cost me $100 shipped for all 4. autopropartner over at ebay.

Moog on the left, this sellers on the right.

They look beefy like carli's?

I did. He doesn't seem to have very good english though. Which is probably from his nationality.
Parts are made in Taiwan and sold out of this guy from CA. They supposedly carry a 20k, 1 year warranty. And the maker is I guess these guys. The only brand listed is Aftermarket. He told me to go buy a set of moogs and a set of his and I will see the difference in quality right away.

This is about as technical I could get him to be:

"ball stud made by alloy steel, housing is carbon steel, all meet international stardard, thanks."

Think I may just go with the MOOGs.

i would definitally stick with the brand name ones, that way if warrenty issues arise, you have a reputable company to fall back on. plus it only 170$...still a cheap mod!

Thanks, thats where my gut is taking me on this one.

But damn I need inner tie rods as well. About $230 worth of mods, and then i just spent 272 on full bilstein suspension and 212 on a rear sway bar, and 1200 on tires. damn, i need a job now

Sullivan, as large as Houston is, i bet that there is a wholesale distributor or 2 for MOOG parts in your city
all the alignment, body shops, service stations, & government equipment shops around San Diego get their suspension parts from a single source here, they have about 20 parts runners in little compact cars & pickups

if you call or go to any large alignment shop, they could point you in the right direction

MOOG products are made by Federal-Mogul

Otherwise, go to this site, they have worldwide shipping & they have a Houston shipping center
http://www.woodys-auto-supply.com/

they have an online catalog

Do the lower ball joints have the grease nipples that are in on an angle so that they don't get sheared off by the universal joint ?
