Mr.Clean is on a distinguished road
Default Lookin for suggestions on suspension..

Well to start off i have a 2007 4door ram 1500. I was wondering what is the best kit i should go with on lowering my truck? I know there are a dozen of makers out there but like everything aftermarket thy have ther pro and cons. Im lookin for a product with good ride comfort and a good and even stance in a 2/4 drop...

Thankx.. Mr. Clean

If you have a link i would really appericate it thankx..

Folks I know that have lowered their Rams swear by the Bell Tech kits.

There's some folks here who have used McGauhay's (sp?) as well with good results.

My suggestion is Mcgaughys...and go 4/6"! I never regretted it for a second, and my truck is used as a truck.

I run the GroundForce 2/4 kit because it's the only one that markets their drop as fitting a 4x4. If you have a 2wd then you've got tons of options. You need to figure out if you want drop springs or drop spindles if you're only gonna do a 2/4 drop. Springs will give you a different rids compared to stock, and you should swap shocks too (but not required). Spindles leaves the rest of your suspension stock and swaps the spindle. The rear is very easy, it just needs a flip kit and you're golden. I'm with Greg though, a 4/6 really compliments the trucks so much better.
