Default Leveling Kit Measurement Q?

Ok. So my truck was sold to me as having a Truxxx Leveling kit installed (2''). It also has 285/65/20 BFG's (34.5) on it.

Lately I've been noticing more and more that the truck still isnt "level" and the back end is still slightly higher in the rear.

Is this normal? I thought with the leveling kit the front end would be even with the back? Any one know what my front fender height would be or should be?

Heres a (terrible) pic for reference

Reason I ask it

- I Like knowing exactly whats been done to my truck
- I'm planning on getting a set of 35x12 or 295/65/20s in the future, if its not leveled or something is not where it should be I want to know so I can order the appropriate parts to clear.

Thanks

I've read different posts and depending on the kit some posts indicate ther is still a unlevel latitude. Your truck looks great as it sits now!

you'll never get a "perfect" level....you'll either be a little higher in the front or back...preferably the back if you tow/haul anything. Trucks that are used as trucks will always have a rake.

Yea, I was just worried about it clearing the full on 35's. Guess I'll find out when that time comes.

Easiest way to tell is to look at the top of the coil over and see if there is a spacer there or nor

You could add a small spacer to the front at the top of the coil.

I think your truck looks good as-is! Not sure you are gonna clear 35's with only a level kit but it won't hurt to try!

i got 2.5 up front and 1.5 in the rear. guy at the shop was originally going to give me just 2.5 in the front and told me it would level me right out but there wouldnt be any rake. i still use my truck as a truck though so i put the 1.5 in the rear to give me some rake for pulling a trailer etc. with 2.5 up front i got 35/12.5/17's on. my rims are a -20 offset and i have zero rub, it is pretty tight though. not sure if that .5 inch will make a difference for you. although with the -20 offset rims i had to put some spacers in. the inside wall of the tire was sitting real close to the upper "a" arm. spacers scare me though so im already pricing out some rims with a -18 offset so i can lose the spacers.

Yea there is a small rubber spacer on top of my coil spring, guess thats my leveling kit, I finally went and looked (hard to see, had to crank wheel and lay on ground). I'm ok with the unlevel look as i do plan on towing with it.

I'm going to run a 295/65/20 Nitto Trail Grappler MT, so tall as a 35 but a bit narrower so hopefully that lets me clear it. Wheels are 20x9 with a +15mm offset.

Will post pictures once I buy the tires might have to wait, just bought tow mirrors, cab lights, and am having the front grill painted to match along with have my bumpers touched up. Then I plan on painted my headlight inners.

I bought this truck to be the daily driver and tow rig for the mustang......and now I'm modding it out...
