Default '01 1500 Off Road - Level or Lift?

New to the forum - hello everyone and thanks in advance for the help.
Does anyone have an opinion on the best way to get 35s to fit on a 2001 1500 Off Road edition? It has 33s on it now with no rubbing problems.

It seems like most manufacturer websites have disclaimers about the kits not fitting the Off Roads. Should I be looking at kits for 2500s instead of 1500s?

Price is less important than ride quality / avoiding mechanical issues in the future. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mike

No, I don't think a 2500 kit will do the trick, Mike.

I think the best way is, since you aren't having a problem getting 33's on it now in stock configuration (it is stock, right?) then a level kit should get you what you need.

I'd look at KORE, SuperLift and HellBent to start.

Good luck and welcome to the forum!

I looked at BDS and Fabtech really quick, and BDS didn't say anything about it not fitting the Off Road model, but Fabtech did. (BDS is here)
I think that BDS's 3" would probably be the best to fit 35s.

With the off road package, any advertised lift amount you need to subtract 2" since with that package it sits that much higher than a regular ram. So a 6" would only be a 4" on the off road

I have a 2.5" leveling kit, Bilstein 5100s all around. 285/70/17s 33.4" per the manufacture of the tire. Plenty of room for 35s
