Im just gonna let it be for now. Ill have my guy replace it when he finally tells me hes rdy to do my shift kit. So weird thing happened today i was going over some stuff in the engine bay. Noticed a slight hissing sound been doing it for a long time never really paid it much mind its faint barely can hear it. Only hear it while engine running and hood open with ur head in there. But anyway i started looking around and went over the vacuum line that goes into the intake manafold noticed all lines were hooked up but i could hear that noise better. One of the pieces that had an opening and nothing was attached to i sealed it off with e-tape. I was amazed how just that small vacuum leak robbed me of so much its like a totally different truck. I went around a corner and had her going sideways last time i was able to do that was at least 2-3 years ago

I bought one as a gift for my brother (96 w/a 5.9). he installed it & never worked right. He has a friend who is a retired tranny guy, they pulled the trans out & rebuilt it w/out the kit. the guy told him it was a "dumb idea". Not knowing how true that is....but I'm told theres an adjustment to the throttle linkage or somewhere near it that can improve our shifts. I have to admit....I bought it for him as a guinee pig to see if the results would be desireable to purchase one for my '01.

lol i got transgo tfod-hd2 kit. its a reprogramming kit. i took it to 2 shops both said the kit i have is a really good kit and they would of recommended nothing less. i was quoted from 163-230 for a install. altho they said they wouldnt give me a warranty on their wrk. said they cant do it cause if theres something wrong with my tranny this wont fix it. my reply my tranny is 100% and if it dont work after the shift kit it isnt my tranny...
