Default Possibly computer problems?

My dodge keeps die in on me randomly when im drivein down the road or sitin at a light. After it dies it has no spark from the ig. coil. I turn the key to the on pos.to see the guages kick on and nothen. Truck has power but the guages dont read aynthing. After about 20 min sittin the truck will start. Ive already replaced a lot of stuff an im thinkin it might be the computer. Any ideas???

Yeah...that's a possibility but you would still have power to the gauges.

Have you checked all your main power connections, including the harness connector at the PCM?

Yea i checked the connection while it was running and none of them came loose or made the truck die when i wiggled'em around. But the gauges do have power because you can see them move only a little when i turn the key but not enough to register(fuel, temp, pwr, ect.) After i let the truck set for 10 or 15 i can turn the key an theyll register an it'll start.

hmmm...have you tested your battery? Go to a local parts store and make sure it's not failing.

my friend has a older truck too, it was acting some what like yours is
he has sent the computer off twice to get it rebuilt, he just found out that they never cleaned off the computers id # & the last number that they believed to be a 3, was actually a 5, so he he sent it back again, waiting on it to return again
