If you do a lot of highway driving, the 4:10's might be a better option if you plan to stick with the 33's. If you jump to 4:56's you truck will rev higher at highway speeds. If you plan to jump to 35's, then I think the 4:56's would be okay in the interim.

I saw a jacked up 2nd gen on ebay with 38's, 4:56 gears, and a 5.9 with a Holley TB, TB spacer, and headers. the guy claims 17 mpg town and 24 highway. Is this a BS story? I was wondering if I should put new gears in my truck? Its a daily driver with 35's.
