As others have said, it is not the tires on the truck that make the difference with rear end ratios

Its what you want to do while using those tires on the truck, that should determine what ratio your truck should have

if you have a 4X4 that is all jacked up, huge tires, best suspension ever made, with 3.92s or 4.11s with LSD or POSI, & never leave the pavement, its may as well be a trailer queen & a huge waste of money. ( there are a lot of them in southern California )

If your the kind of person that drives down an old highway & see a dirt, sand, or muddy trail & want to know where the heck it goes, because you like to explore, the above vehicle is more your style

I have watched brand new trucks go out to the sandbowl in Ehrenberg Az & decide to try the hill climb. sometimes they make it, sometimes they return home with dents

this is Not that place

I think ima take the leap to 4.10s just think 4.56s be a little to much since im only going to 35s and i drive all over my county for work.

Now just need to decide to do either the gears first/what gears to do or the lift and bigger tires first...

I Agree! If your going to spend the money, you might as well change itenough to really notice the difference! I am also going with 4.56's. (from 3.55)

from what Ive been reading seems that 4.10s with 35s with get me pretty much back to factory feeling..how bad of gas mileage would 4.56s make the truck with 35s?
