Default Rear under seat storage

Anybody have pictures of the rear seat of the 2009-2011 Ram crew cab with the rear under seat storage removed? I know there are a lot of people putting amplifiers and subwoofers here, but is it possible to completely remove it?

How about folding the rear seats FORWARD instead of up? Is this possible, and does anyone have any pictures?

Thanks!

Don't quote me on this but if i'm not mistaken, the underseat compartments are factory molded sheet metal.

Ya, I pulled the carpet back to run the wires for my speaker/amp and there is a piece of sheetmetal welded to the bottom of the cab under the carpet that forms the storage area. Also I saw in another thread that someone had pics of the seats and carpet out of his 4th gen to run wires and you could see the metal pieces.

Sorry to interrupt this convo

Is there a way to remove the lids ? I can't get atrend sub enclosure to fit unless these are removed by the looks of it. Also looks seat will sit right on subs and raise seat a bit ? I have two young kids sitting back there. I don't want it unsafe if seats don't lock down if they do.
Thanks for help on this. Again sorry if wrong to post in this thread. If I should start another I can do so.

Some of the speaker box companies sell spacer kits for the rams. It raises the whole bench by an inch or two so that the seats fold properly and there is plenty of clearance for the subs and whatever else.

If you buy from here... all their kits come with spacers...

several people modified their seat back brackets

if i recall correctly,
when you raise the bottom of the seat, the seat back raises slightly
If the hooks that hold the seat back in place are trimmed just a bit, ( 3/4" ?? ),
you would be able to fold up the seat bottom, causing the seat back to rise slightly, then you could fold the back seat forward & lower both pieces of the seat down towards the floor.
The subject of safety was then brought up in the discussions

I removed the seat bolts, added a 5/8 piece of maple and was able to use the stock hardware. Now the seats fold both ways. Somebody on this site talk about it before. Thanks
