After talking to a few mec. shops is a strut compressor needed to do this job? Is there a thread on putting these things on?

I would think so, but I dropped mine off for the local 4X4 shop to "get acquainted" with. They know more about bad angles and little fixes than I do and it didnt cost a mint to put them in.

Do you have any before pics? I'm just curious on what it looked like before and after. I ended up going the Daystar 2.5" front and 1.25" rear spacer "lift" and am quite satisfied but yours does look great. What kind of difference do you feel in the ride? Also, great looking wheels and tires. What size tires are those and maybe info on the wheels as well. Thanks in advance.

My Bilstens should be here on Tuesday. I have been doing some looking and have found that some people are saying not to go all the way to the top, because the alignment shop will not be able to adjust the tow do to being max out, so if I won't a level look where should the clip be?

o.k. heres what i'm thinking, Bilstens at the highest point (2.8) and then put a set of Timbrens SES on the rear to help with squating for towing. Will be running 305*55*20 nitto tires. Good , bad, anything?

I ended up taking the Bilsteins all the way to the top. I have a TRX4 package so I'm already at .7" higher than stock. I measured and needed 2" of lift to level so I needed to go all the way. I got an alignment shortly after installing the Billsteins without any problems.

I am looking forward putting some of these on my truck. I currently have coil spacers with the stock shocks. I have about 55k miles on them and I think they are about shot? Anyone else run into trouble with the stock shocks at this mileage? I am just looking for a somewhat reasonable excuse to purchase these shocks and get rid of the coil spacer!!
