I put the windows down/up several times a day, just a matter of time before I'm spending big $$$ to fix them. Anyway, like you said, to each their own, I just couldn't imagine going through the trouble to change this...
Funny you should mention the power rear windows; in the UK I had a car with power front windows and manual rear winders and it wasn't terribly uncommon. The argument I guess is you need them infrequently so you don't pay for them and they can't break

The only time I wished I had power windows in my old truck is if someone would pull up next to you or walk up an the passenger side and want to ask a question or talk to you. Everyone assumes power windows these days.

It would probably take replacing the entire driver side control switch with an aftermarket one. I say this because I took apart my rear door trying to find a good hot wire for a MOD and the window / lock control is on module with a circuit board.

On my truck to one touch up and down feature is activated by a felt additional "Click" when you lift or push the button completely up or down. Because of the circuit board I would assume that there is some programmed firmware on the board itself that tells the motor to stay on for a per determined time, so I don't think that just swapping the back window buttons with the front window buttons would work.

Some food for thought...

The no one touch option for the rear windows may be a safety feature.

My wife had our kids in the back of her Jeep. It started to rain so she rolled the windows up. Our kids started to scream! They had their hands out the windows and couldn't get them back in fast enough and got their fingers jammed! They were fine, nothing broke.

I can see that but the fronts have an auto stop. If you auto the window up. And your hand is in the way. The window stops and rolls all the way down.

This would probably also mean that there is some sort of pressure sensor on the front motors that may not be present on the back motors. Also makes me think that there is some programing involved as in the motor meaning resistance before the preset time equals an obstruction so reverse the motor.
