the rear 02's only monitor the cats...so you will have to disable them (diablo or custom tune), or run something like plug foulers (see pics). If you tune them out, they will have to be turned on for emissions testing (at least in Cali)
Does a diablo performance tune automatically do this or is it an option somewhere in the tool that I just haven't found yet?

Why do you want to remove them? They hardly rob you of any power...
I can't answer for Daytona, but as for me... I'm not setting out to simply remove my cats. Pacesetter sells a set of LT headers and matching y-pipe that I have been eyeing. With these two items, the cats would have to either be relocated or deleted... and being in a state where we do not have to worry about emessions testing, why not get rid of them?

I was referring to the catalytic converters hardly effect performance...especially aftermarket ones. That said, they are expensive... I was planning on long tubes for my truck and was going to relocate the cats, but now am just going to get shorties and leave the cats alone. The cats on these newer vehicles flow pretty well, you'll lose a few hp running them, not much though...

if you you're going to keep the stock cats...open the ends up more to allow more flow (I did when i first did LT's...3")

bottom line..cats do affect performance (little or lot depending on accompanying mods).. if you don't have testing or inspections, by all means delete them. I didn't think they would make much of a difference but my track times dropped even more after deleting them..

If you plan to trade in your truck at some point, it's very possible that missing the cat's will definitely change the trade in amount. Also, if your truck is totaled, the adjuster will examine the vehicle for a recent emissions test, and cat's.

Just my $.02

I knocked out my Cat on my 2005 F250 diesel and MPG dropped. Putting on Pacesetter LT here soon and trying to find out if I need to order new cats (not gonna use the old ones) or just not use any. Redoing everything and just trying to get it put together before I order.

So are you guys saying there are front and rear sensors? Totalling 4 sensors? I haven't been under my truck yet, and it's pooring outside, so I'm not about to go look.
