Question 2009 4x4 Leveling Kit and Tire Suggestions

Hello All-

I'm looking for some advice on a leveling kit for my 2009 Laramie 4x4. Does anybody have recommendations for the best quality kits and best value kits?

Also, I'd like to keep the stock 20" chrome clad wheels (despite the bad remarks I'm reading here) and upgrade to an off-road tire that will fit both the wheels and the leveling kit... any thoughts?

Im looking to knock out the leveling kit and tires in the same trip to the shop!

I'm new to the forum and appreciate any advice!

Thanks! -John

I like the 2.5 inch front level kit with a rear kit as well. Readylift seems to be a pretty good one, it has a 2.5 front and 1.5 rear which is what my truck has. I put on 285/65/20 and love it. The truck looks 200x better than stock but still rides nice and gets decent mileage, although it did drop some. I have pictures of this setup on my profile. Good luck

I agree with MTtruckr ^^^^. With the stock wheels and a 2.5" level kit, a 285/65X20 will fit just fine and look good.

MT love the way your truck looks, hopefully I'll get there soon!

I have a 2.5 HBS level kit, which leveled the truck nicely, but the front springs seemed to have sagged a wee bit in the 5000 miles since installation. I have 285/60-20 Goodyear Duratracs with V Tec Torch 2 wheels on order. Will post pictures once installed.
