I just swapped the R/T springs onto my quad cab. I lifted the back of the truck by the trailer hitch until the tires were an inch off the ground then put jackstands under the frame rails for safety. My rear coils did not "fall out" easily like others have posted theirs did. I had to use some good force to compress them about a half inch and help from a screwdriver to use for leverage to pull them out. It took me about 2 hours to swap them and everything, but if I were to do it again I could probably do it all in under 30 minutes. Initially the height was basically the same, but after a one mile drive the driver side dropped an inch from the stock height, but the passenger side actually lifted a half inch(I think this may be the way it's sitting in the driveway). I'm going to remeasure in a week and post back, I really hope it ends up giving an inch drop. I also noticed the springs are slightly different, the R/T ones have tighter coils at the top, my stock ones don't. chvykllr: is there a way I can send you an excel file of the info I got? I also have pics of my stock springs and the R/T side by side will post in a few minutes. The R/T springs are same part number and length, my stock springs are different part numbers and the driver side is about .5" longer than passenger side.

Ok, will send it to you once I get your email. I think I only got 4 (including mine and yours) but I guess it's better than nothing. The one is just the letters off the guys build sheet, I don't know how to cross reference them.

Here's what I've concluded from swapping to the reg cab R/T springs on my quad cab: It dropped the driver side .5", didn't change passenger side. No other differences noticed other than the obvious side by side differences. So, I'll probably swap them back in a few weeks. If it would have dropped both sides evenly I probably would have kept them in, but I don't want the truck uneven. I wonder if anyone that has an R/T can measure both sides of theirs to see if it sits level from factory....both springs are the same length and part number, whereas my quad cab stock springs are different part numbers and lengths from driver side to passenger side...
