Default blistein shocks for a mild lift?

Can you really get 2.75 inches of lift from these shocks, or are they just for trucks with a lift already? OR is it just for a level? I think rancho offers something like this

You can use the shock as a leveling kit. The have an adjustable retainer clip and usually have four height settings, depending on the truck 2.5" or 2.75" is usually the max height.
Unfortunately since your truck is an 04 you can't use these. Your truck has torsion bars so you can either just crank up the torsion bars for the little bit of height your looking for a little more height or you can buy new keys that will do the same thing.
I wouldn't recomend going much higher then +2" in the front if you choose the first option as it will stiffen up your ride alot past 2"

If you have the money to spend, you can get a regular bilstien 5100 shock. I've heard nothing but good things about them other then how much they cost.
I just put Pro Comp ES9000 on all four corners of the 2500 and have to say that I am very pleased with them. I have a 2" Hell Bent Steel leveling kit on the front and the ride was a little rough with stock length shocks. The +2" shocks in the front made a HUGE differnce.
The truck rides like its stock now and the ES9000 didnt let the rear end sag at all with 6500lbs of stock trailer behind it (usually sag is alot worse on trucks that are leveled) and the ride was still comfortable
