Yeah that sounds cool, I would seriously like to see pics of that, email me whatever... Is it an R/T that you ordered, and do you know for sure if it's going to be a 6 speed? One more question, what are you going to pay? If I can save 6+ g's that might be the deal maker...

I've seen a 2011 ram 2500 in the regular black and a 2011 ram 2500 with brilliant black side by side and I prefer the brilliant black

I'd like to see the regular black, but I certainly don't have anything against brilliant black, see pic, my current ride

Black is black no matter how you look at it. The PXR brilliant black is a very cool color. In the sun it has a TON of metallic. It doesn't look "dirty", it looks metallic plain and simple. At night it looks just the same as the PX8 pitch black is. The PX8 pitch black is like any old black you've seen on any vehicle before so you don't need a pic. I doubt you'd see a difference in the in a picture anyways. It's a straight black with clear. It's still a cool color.

The problem for me with Brilliant Black is precisely that. That in the light, you can see the metal flakes, and they aren't black, they're silver. And there is an absolute difference in the colors in any situation where there is ample light. If you look at any daylight picture, I can immediately identify the Brilliant Black like the 300C above because it has a lot more glare and a lot less deep real black. Now it just depends on what your definition of black is. For me black is black, it is by nature a flat paint color because black is a flat color. When you mix in silver flakes, it's not black, it's black with silver flakes.

Anyway for 2012 PX8 is it, so there isn't much choice.

I just prefer the deeper colors with flake or pearl rather than just a plain paint

I just love the way my truck looks in this pic
