Default is there a simple way? 07 radio install

I appologise, but caNT seem to figure out this forum. Plus my wife is out of town for a week and I'm in charge of 5 kids. anyway, I want to put a Walmart stereo into my truck (my reception quit) I took it out , replaced door speakers, but wanna get a standard cd radio . Will i need a wiring kit?? I found a dash kit available, but could not find any wiring info. Havent bought the radio yet.
Thanks if you can help...I hope I can find this thread again and see if anyone responds. lmizell@gmail.com

You need the dash kit to fill the space. You will need an antenna adapter so am/fm radio functions. Lastly you will need a harness for your radio. It will basically go color for color to the new head unit and have a male plug that connects to the factory radio harness. Your truck is equipped with the canbus system so the harness is like $60. You can get the $10 harness and tap into power from the cig lighter or another constant 12v+ source if you really want to save money. Everyone has their opinions on that so I'll refrain from advice and you can use your judgement. Hope that answered your question.
