I just bought the North Country by Heartland. Weighs about 6,600 lbs dry. Great TT but have had a few minor issues...nothing the service guys can't handle. Pulled up mountian with 2011 Ram 1500 with 5.7 Hemi and 3.92 gears. Pulled good although did have a conern as we smelled what I think was a over heating rear end. Not sure as there was a recall and they did something back there...maybe that was it. Looking forward to heading up the mountain again soon.

You don't need air bags. You need a class 4 and a WD hitch. A WD hitch spreads the load over your truck taking it off the rear. It will pull much better and much more stable.
I pulled a 6500 lb TT with a 4.7 with nothing more than a Curt WD hitch. Unfortunately the 4.7 was not up to the task but I never had any issue with the mechanics of the tow.
Me personally I stay away from anything that uses air. You never know when you will have a failure and it will happen at the worst time. If you want load leveling look at the Roadmaster Active Suspension. I currently have the Hellwig springs for my truck but have yet to use them so I can't comment.

I also have the airlift 1000 bags for the rear coil springs. It made a huge diffrence when towing my trailer. It does a great job of keeping the truck level. I got them online from autoanything along with a K&n cold air intake. They were easy to install, and are very affordable. I ran the air line to the rear of my truck, and just to the right of the license plate. It looks as if it was installed from the factory. A must for pulling a travel trailer.
How about I put my "carbon footprint" up your liberal ass?
