Default new rearend..new sound

got a new rearend in my 98 4x4 1500.now it makes a loud noise when u are going slow,like around 5mph amd on the brakes.one loud pop and that is it.you cant feel it in the floor or anything and it only makes the noise with the brakes on.i had all new rear drums put on with the rearend. soooo do i start with the brakes or assume it is the rearend? thanks

Recheck the brakes, make sure the pads were set properly.
