For the dents, I got under the bed for most to bang them out. From there you sand them all the way down to the metal with 60-80 grit. Bondo body filler was used ($8). Then I sanded it down to perfection and sprayed all bondo and bare metal with etching primer ($5).

Total cost for this liner was under $130.
Nice. I will definitely go with this kit if I ever get around to it. I know it will probably take me two days. I would have to remove my toolbox and fix about 5000 dents. hahah

Wow, that is the best DIY job I've seen done. It looks just as professional as if you had Line-x do it. Awesome job!

It looks good and you did a good job! BUT, doing a little research:

The kit you bought is 134 ounces of which according to their data sheet is about 45% solvents that evaporate away. That leaves about 73 ounces of actual bedliner solids. A short bed truck is about 60 sqft and using a math formula, the thickness will be about 14 mils assuming no waste. To compare, the thickess of a dime is 40 mils and professional bedliners are about 125 mils on the floor and about 90 on the sides. So, if you want a Raptor liner as thick as a professional liner (I'm not saying you do, I'm just saying...) you would have to buy 14 Raptor kits which would cost you more than $1,500. So, again, you did a good job and it looks nice, but you really didn't save any money and what you have is a slip resistant surface, but you really don't have a "bedliner". But, maybe that's OK for you!

Again, all I wanted was a bedliner that stopped the rust, and gave a nice looking surface. I got just what I wanted.

I agree, its not very thick, but this stuff is pretty durable and does the job. I don't feel like spending the extra $650 on a linex lol
