Looks like it was user error on my part. I was pressing and holding the Uconnect button instead of the phone button. It is updating right now. Will test it later but so far, so good.

It works so rep points for providing that info. Took about 15-20 minutes for the software to install. It takes a little while to recognize the device and I am also getting some intermittent skipping but overall it is working pretty well. No album art but I don't really care about that anyway. Thanks again.

It seems to, but I can't verify today since I didn't drive the Ram to work... I know with the touch it threw up the initializing screen and basically blocked the radio out for the few seconds until the ipod was ready to go. I can't remember if the old-school one did that or went to radio temporarily and then came back to the ipod when it was ready... either way I didn't have to do anything and the ipod started playing.

I updated mine tonight - it worked! Make sure you press and hold the button with the phone on it to initiate the process, not the unconnect or voice command button.

My bluetooth music streaming now works perfectly with no skip. I still don't get album art, however.

If you have any issues with the update, be sure to use a freshly formatted thumb drive... Mine wouldn't update until I did... Tried 6 times no dice, reformatted and BAM, worked like a charm

I was able to get my iphone to work but was having an issue with my older ipod to work, after installing the latest software to the ipod it works great. Gotta love the RAM logo that shows up!!!

Sorry for the large pic, can't reside from phone.

I can't believe how easy it was to get my iphone to stop playing all my songs like they were being sung by the chipmunks. And I don't have to make a trip to the dealer to deal with more stupidity. Great post and rep to the OP!

Ran the updte tonite and it works perfect now!!! Returns to the iPod instead of the radio being the default. That will be really nice when I get the Sick Speed carbon fiber antenna because I know it's not going to pick up very well. I never listen to the radio anyway and it was really annoying for it to default to the radio every time. Thanks so much for posting this!!!

Terry

LOL while it is true that I posted this in the Challenger forum, I joined your forum for the sole intent of posting it for you guys as well. Here is the link...

http://www.ramforumz.com/showpost.ph...6&postcount=38

I also posted this on the JeepPatriot.com forum and Wranglerforum.com, where it originated. I was surprised that this forum was the most inactive regarding the subject.... turns out another thread (this one) was created. EIther way, I am glad you guys came across it and are able to update!

And since I can't edit my posts in this forum, this is where I posted the updated download links
