OK, so the BakFlip arrives today (I'll post that up later) and I want to install the Mopar BedRug but it isn't happening this week. Anyway, now that I will be able to cover the bed i was looking for a way to keep things from sliding around and give them some cushioning. Since the BedRug is in the plans I didn't want to spend much money an I didn't want to wait. I thought a plain rubber mat would lay in the center of the bed and would fit the bill but when I was looking in Home Depot I saw the grey interlocking tiles.
Well $30 and 20 minutes of installation later:
I could have trimmed it a bit tighter if I took my time but it stays in place well. I drove around with it yesterday and there was no movement even though the bed is open. The only thing you can't see is that I duct taped the seams (on the underside) after the pic was taken.
So it will do nicely till I can order the BedRug and I'll have something comfortable to kneel on while I'm installing the Bakflip.
