I read through this whole thread but still a little confused. From what I gather, this fixes bluetooth streaming with the chimpmunk voices. Does it also fix iPhone 4 connected via usb in the glove box? Any help would be appreciated.

I know it corrected it for my 3rd gen iPod Touch and I am pretty sure it fixed some of the new versions. I am guessing it will fix yours as well. If it doesn't, you are no worse off than you are now so why not give it a shot?

This kind of strange, I have posted here about the Uconnect Update on a couple of threads and come here every few days to see if anyone needs help with it. Anyway it looks like you guys (and possibly ladies) are using the update. You want to know a funny thing is that the general public that are using the updates for the TSB 08-036-11 are doing a much better job performing it than the dealer techs are. In fact there are still dealers out there that tell people that this TSB is not available and it became available @ 9am on June 29th 2011. I have also spoken to some people at Chrysler and they are updating the TSB to include other known issues than just the Iphone / iPod as well as changing the supporting date, which is currently "vehicles built prior to April 18th 2011 to June 1st 2011. The reason for the change is that some vehicle built after the supporting date had the Uconnect SW version 43.1.30 on them and the update brings it to a SW level of 43.1.40.

You are absolutely right! I gave it a shot and it WORKED!!! So today, I ran this update and the one sent from Sirius to turn on the traffic link. So I am now all up to date.

Thanks very much to the original poster and the person who updated the links. This is very much appreciated!!

Glad it worked but all credit goes to MrJeep44 for getting us going on this. Like you, I also installed the CD I received in the mail and everything seems to be working OK but one thing I noticed is the search function on the pod only allows first letter search whereas the old version allowed you to type in a name. But I don't care because I listen to sat almost 100% of the time.

I am trying to catch up to this... My dealership did some updates on my truck about a month ago and I do not know if this was one of them. I gave up trying to use my ipod touch in my truck since it NEVER works via that USB in the glove box.. Maybe on my next day off I will test it out. Anyway, if it does not work HOW do I find out what SW number or what ever it is I have? Do you have to take the radio out to find the sticker? I read its behind the glovebox?? Is that for the challenger or the Ram? I wish I could drive my truck every day but gas prices just suck!! Instead I have to drive a Mazda 3 to and from work!

If you've got an older 2011 I'd just throw the .10 update on a memory stick and try it out, if that doesn't do anything try the .30. You can't hurt it as it just won't install anything if you've got the wrong update version for the software on your uconnect.

How do I know how old my Ram is? I bought it in May but I got it off the lot so I do not know how long it sat there. It had 75 miles on it when I took it home.
