Default Towing mirror upgrade

Does anyone know if there is an upgrade kit to move from regular length power/heated/lighted mirrors to towing mirrors with the same feature? Part number would be helpful.

Tow mirrors are available to replace your non-tow ones. Which features do you have that you want to retain?

You can upgrade to the towing mirrors easily enough. I don't know if lighting is available but you can get power and heated tow mirrors.

I couldn't seem to locate them online. Dealership's preliminary for the 1500 says they don't have any. Only for the 2500 and 3500.

I'm not surprised. The towing mirrors come standard on a 2500 or 3500.

However, I just did a simple "Build Your Own" at the Ram website and they list those mirrors as an option in 4 configurations.

I have powered, heated towing mirrors on mine from the factory with puddle lamps and turn signals and it came like that from the factory. If that is what you are looking for they definitely should be available.

Any chance you can use your VIN at the dealership Parts counter to get the part numbers? I swear computers have dumbed down the parts departments of Dealerships so much. My dad used to tell me about how he could take it car in and they would pull a part from inventory "just to see if it would work".

The tow mirrors for the 09s and 10s are the same as for the 11s Are you looking for mirrors with puddle lamps? If not, the power and heated mirrors are:

Well Mike at Manassas Chrysler Dodge was able to locate the Part numbers for me. We ended up having to go on the lot and find a 1500 with the towing mirrors. The Part numbers are:

Right side: 55372070AH
Left side: 55372071AH

These are for the black power heated towing mirrors with puddle light. They are going to run me about 250 each side from the dealership and there doesn't seem to be any out there on the market. So if any of you have the power heated towing mirrors and don't like them I would be willing to do a deal for my regular length power heated non-towing mirrors.
