Default New truck to me don't no what to use

Hello all. I just bought my 04 1500 and its got a 5.7 hemi. I am in California and don't no what oil to use. I have always had Jeeps with the 4.0 6cyl. Also, tranny fluid, and anything else that has to do with maintnense.
Thanks for any help!

No owners manual? What does the dealer say? Usually, the 5.7L Hemi uses 10W-40 engine oil. Some folks run a synthetic.

I assume you have an auto trans? If so, Mopar ATF+4 & nothing else.

Which gear oil you use in the front and rear axle depends on your vehicle's specific model. In 1998-2004 Dodge Ram pickups, the 1500 model 4x4 front axle requires GL-5 SAE 75W90 gear oil. The 1500 model rear axle requires Mopar synthetic gear lubricant SAE75W140. If you have a limited slip rear differential, add 4 oz of Mopar limited slip additive. To determine if you have a limited slip rear differential, call your dealer and have your VIN available when you call.

Hope this helps!
