Default Maintaince Questions 2001 1500 5.2L

So, as some of you guys may know, I recently bought a 2001 Ram from my uncle. It's got 62,000 original miles... My question is, is there anything that typically goes bad or breaks?
So far I've noticed:
Black trim turning grey (what dodge doesn't)
Dash cracking (again, they all do, it has a nice cover on it now..)
Fogged up head lights ( I know they all do )

I do realize it's an 8 year old truck, but have you guys noticed anything else?

You might want to check normal maintenance items, like brakes-hoses-belts, and also have the front suspension checked, specifically the steering endlinks and track bar. Othere than that, I haven't had any real problems with my '99 5.2L.

Try using some Mothers chrome polish (or any metal polish really) on those foglights. Apply on the lenses and then buff them out with a fine cloth. You can really scrub on them, but use a circular motion and be sure not to press too hard.

Well, the problem is that it has a small crack on the passenger side, so water has seeped in and I think that is what caused it to turn yellow. I think it will be better to just replace it soon.. When I get the money! lol

I found a list of over $1700 worth of parts he just had replaced, I assume for the 60K mile tune up.. It runs great, I just wondered..

One thing that I am reallly dissapointed in is the plastic inside, its so cheap and thin and it cracks.. Oh well..
