hey all im looking at putting a 2.5" leveling kit in the front of my 2011 ram is there anyone with a 2.5" kit in the front of theres with pics , and would this be to much lift for the front will the back be lower? would i have to put a 3/4 spacer in the back

I would not go with the 3" leveling kit. That will put way to much stress on the front the the truck and it will also be taller in the front than the rear. 2.5" isn't as bad but I think itll be fine. 2" has been the prefered from what all I seen and read. Good luck with the mod.

I keep hearing people say that leveling kits put undue stress on the front end components, what in particular is everyone referring to?

If you really want the truck to be level measure from the center of your axle to the lip of the wheel well front and back, the difference is how much yoiu'll need.
2.5" is a really riskier then 2" obviously becuase it gives your driveline just a little steeper geometry.
People say that leveling kits cause extra stress on your ball joints usually. While I'm not saying that it doesnt, I know a ton of people with leveling kits, including myself and have yet to hear any problems other then "death wobble"

I really wanted to go with a 3" due to the fact that i could fit 35" tires, but i'm almost positive that i could fit 35's with a 2.5" leveling kit, so thats what i'm going to go with!
