psssh, us 2011 guys have more room to complain

two things i dislike about my truck:
1) it did not come equipped with the media-center/navigation head unit
2) the potential for 4WD shimmy when leveled

number 1 is easily fixed, number 2 is a gamble.

I only have 2 issues:

1: There is no way to shut down the torque management, with 390hp and 407lbft you should be able to roast the tires from a standstill!

2. The damn throttle takes ellebinty billion years to respond when you floor it (not talking about coming out of MDS) give me my wire back any day!

clearly you haven't driven anything from GM's newer lineup of trucks. my Ram feels like the power is instantaneous compared to my old Sierra. also i chuckled at 'ellebinty billion', well done.

Indeed that was pretty funny lol.

Tuner fixes the slow throttle response, but it should come that way from the factory...

I agree, although I only have the 4.7 it also should roast the tires effortlessly, I own a 1987 Silverado with the police interceptor package which is only rated at around 250hp & geared for the highway and it will break loose almost to easy. they should be rating hp at the rear wheels these days, dont know what the new method is but none of the new vehicles feel like they have as much power as advertised.

I hated the headrests for about the first 8 months. I found that adjusting them UP, they are a lot better now. That and the fact that I have gotten used to them. Before this '06 RAM, I had an '05 Magnum and the headrests are the same on those cars too.

The number one thing I dislike about my truck is the WEAK 4.7 engine. Factory stock, the earlier 4.7s are completely inadequate even when driving unloaded. Mine is at least now adequate with my mods.

The 3rd thing would have to be the extra soft rear suspension that seems to sit on the bumpstops with just 100 pounds in the bed. OK, maybe I'm exagerating a LITTLE bit. Well, I have some 2000 lb helper springs on the way. I hope I get them before next weekend when I need to haul some more top soil.

And yes, TOO LOW from the factory. The thing I loved about the 2nd gen trucks was that they were much higher than the Chevy's. When I first saw the new '10 Rams, I thought people were buying 2WD trucks. I thought, "Why the hell did he buy a 2WD? I guess he don't plan on driving it in the winter."
The 3rd gens like I have aren't too bad with the leveling kit installed.

THANK YOU!!! YES! I notice the same thing. Especially if I'm going around a curve and hit even a small bump or pot hole, the whole truck seems to shift to the side. I thought maybe I had a broken spring or loose spring mount, but I guess thats just the way it is. I'm glad it's not just MY truck. did it with the stock wheels/tires and still the same with the aftermarket wheels and 33's.

I like the cruise settings on the steering wheel.
