these were done by a great guy named Jeremy. Check out his work here:

http://retroshop.mcfail.net/

I highly recommend his work, great guy and easy to work with. Tell him Bronza (Joe) sent you!
Thats what I did as well. I wanted a set of projectors and just couldn't find the nerve to crack open a perfectly good set of headlights. This for me was a job that was properly outsourced. Some have the skill for that, just not me.

Funny bronza, it was your set that got me thinking about having Jeremy do mine in the first place. I saw your blue set when I began lurking around even before I got the truck and thought that was exactly what I had to have!

He does have a little longer lead time than just ordering a set off the shelf, just because he is busy doing so many sets, and each set is almost custom.

bronza are those HID and have a good cutout so your not blinding oncoming drivers? Are they plug and play or is splicing involved?

Yeah, it is not a cheap mod, especially if you have to pay for the skills of someone else to do most of the work. It is something I have wanted for a while, and the only way I will get a set of retrofit projectors is to have someone do it for me.

Glad to hear it! Of all the mods on my truck, I still think this one is my favorite.

Yes they do have a perfect cutoff, no blinding of oncoming drivers. The ones Jeremy uses are almost plug and play. You don't have to do any splicing, but you do need to wire in a harness to the battery. It only takes about an hour to get the lights in and working.

I looked into those but I'm but I'm trying to keep the stock look as much as possible. Keeps the lady of the house from question where the money goes. I'm thinking a retrofit is my going to my course like gingrbredman, but I'm more DIY inclined. I just can't figure out the whole process yet. That little reflector tab thing has me concerned as I would have to cut it off. I'll probably hit the salvage yard for a set to either practice on or use for the build so I can take my time.

You can do it for $265 + shipping.

I thought about the retro's but I didn't want to chance ruining my only headlights, that is the absolute cheapest way to go. IMHO the cheapest & easiest way would be to order some projectors and order a HID Kit: $265 total. I put these in this weekend. (Pics coming once I get em taken'! Pic whores!) If you don't care for the LED & Halo's then don't plug them in, it will make the entire job plug and play. Otherwise it takes a few splices, some butts & a heat gun or torch to wire them to the parking lights.
