Default Anybody run a 1/2" wheel spacer on the 2011 RAM???

I'm looking at getting just a bit more space out of mine and try and squeeze a 305/70/17 on my rig when I get tires next. I put on some Vision Warrior 375's on it and I really like the look, but I feel like if I go any bigger on the tires, they're going to rub. There was not much clearance when I turned the wheel lock to lock especially if I end up airing down at all. I was going to try 1/2" wheel spacers and want to get a quality hub-centric spacer that will work well with a 2011 specific truck. Has anybody on here tried one and with what luck was it that you tried it??? Thanks in advance.

I got spacers on my truck had and issue with the rim not laying flat on spacer causing wobble after inspection found the truck studs were too long and didn't allow the rim to lay flat after shaving the studs no more issues love the look I got an 05 though

did you do this? I have a 2010 Quad Hemi 4x2 stock suspension and I had a set of (4) 1/2 inch thick machined aluminum spacers made, but am yet to try them out. studs look long, but suspect i will only get 5 turns with them on. I'd like to fit some 325/50/20s (~13x32) on my stuck 20x9 +19mm offset chrome clads. I've seen it on a 4x4, but never a 4x2 with no level or lift. I might be the first to try, but an expecsive test. Also concerned about fuel economy just for an aggressive look. But do think 325/50/20 would look awsome on my truck.

Yup, people put 37's on a ford ranger with 3.73 gears and a little 2.5 liter 4 banger so I figure the 4.7 could swing some 34.5" tires with ease in comparison. It really isn't that big of a difference, the factory tires are about 32.5" or so, so I'm only really adding a couple inches.

Careful, they're hub-centric wheels and if not centered properly you'll get wobbles like crazy. I have heard you need 7 full rotations on the lugs to get them to seat and torque properly. That may or not be enough, but thats just reading here on the boards so take it for what its worth.

Haven't done it yet. Wow though, those are going to be some big friggin tires on that. You may still run into some rubbing with a tire that big.

I had 1/2" spacer on a 2500 with 4 turns on the lugs, wasn't crazy about them and they still rubbed anyway so I have 1.75" spacer now so I didn't have to trim the factory lug, not really the best way to go either but it's been 20k miles with out problems
