Default How to remove interior door panel without damage

I purchased an aftermarket power window and power door lock kit. What is the proper way to remove the interior door panel from a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 without damaging the panel or the plastic clips that hold the panel to the door?

Mind if I ask what year it is? Most of the time it is just unscrew and lift straight up on the panel. The 80s and earlier though, I recommend a screwdriver or pry-tool to avoid destroying the cardboard backing on the panel.

Your 08 should be like my 06. There are some screws by the handle, after you remove those just lift up and try not the pry on anything to hard if it is not working.

The easiest way is if you take off the door handle its one bolt and then there's a few screws and a couple clips

Yes, a few screws and then it should lift up and out. There should not be any prying.
