I would like to tackle it myself if possible but would like to know what are the real difficult points from access and tools.
I did the cam swap in my truck in the driveway and it wasn't too difficult. But my truck is a 3rd gen so I am not sure how similar/different the swap would be for a 4th gen.

A word to the wise unless you know a mopar tech personally or have access to dealer connect and have an extensive amount of tools and time I would not attempt this cam install it's not for the average enthusiast.

Is the swap in the 4th gen more complex or difficult than the 3rd gens? I haven't read any writeups about doing it in the 4th gen but would love to hear what goes into the 4th gen cam swap.

Chris did a "crazyjay" cam and 6.1 manifold swap on a 09 (KarateMan21) earlier this year. He should know in detail for ya... He also provided phone help to Sam when Sam was doing his first 4G too.

I have built my fair share of motors and installed plenty of cams over the years, true I have never installed one in a 4th gen ram So if there is something Im missing I would like to know.
