Default tired of it!!!

I have put over $2500 into my truck in the past few months and still no luck with transmission. has new governor, transducer, valve body and for some reason the dodge mechanic cant get the computer to read the ECU properly. Something seriously wrong with it. He drove truck and says the way it is slipping it will need a new tranny soon. Not even 10,000 miles and a rebuild! Going to look for a different truck today. This one is a damn money pit

Sorry to hear you have troubles. Does your truck have a lot of miles? and has it had regular maintenance over the course of its life or just when it needs it?

It has just over 155k miles, which is getting up there but not terrible for a 1999. Just the fact that the tranny has been rebuilt not long ago. Since I have owned it, it has had regular maintenance in all aspects and then some. I try to take very good care of my vehicles. Even my old beater hunting truck is taken care of. Do the newer rams have the same Trans problems?

From several friends experiences with higher mileage dodges, the transmissions have started having issues at about 120k. I am on my way there with nearly 10k miles in 5 months, which may not seem like much, but i didnt seem to drive my car as much before getting the truck.
