You were thinking that too huh.. Not to mention it's on backwards.. I've been trying to think about what to do there... If I take it off, I'll have 4 holes to fill or plug or whatever so any thoughts? I can repaint it or use header wrap on it to keep heat out.. I have a friend who is in my opinion the best welder in the world. . The man is an artist. But will it damage the tube or do something to the airflow due to an imperfection?

Any idea's guys??? Also, do you think I should get a FASTMAN TB? are they worth it?

More to come..... Any other mod ideas guys?
Is the intake tube metal? It looks like black plastic in the picture. If it is metal yeah you can just weld the holes to fill them in. The slight imperfection won't matter, it wouldn't even be a measurable change in airflow(think about exhausts....they have weld imperfections everywhere and it doesn't matter). The fastman TB mod is a great value IMO.

Nice setup

It is a metal tube, but it's coated with something so it has texture. When I go back home for a visit I'm going to stop in and see if it can be welded.. Also if it can I'm going to cut the bung on the front off where the PCV tube was. Then do some custom painting or something to make it look purdy!. lmao!

I'm going to look into the Throttle body today... Debating on whether to put the SRT 6.1 injectors in and whether to do a fuel rail and front cross over.. It probably isn't necessary so more info will be required for that. I'd do a cam if it wasn't so expensive to put one in. So later on I guess.

Ordered an OPTIMA Yellow Top Battery and a power capacitor as my stereo is making my headlights pulse.. lmao!

Any transmission upgrades guys??

Well at least the parts from Dodge have shown up.. LOL!!

So I now have exhaust manifold gaskets... Headers on route. If it gets nice today I'll go put the cabin filter in!
