Nice numbers and the curve looks good. I'm going to try to start my pull a little lower, mayber 3200-3300. Hopefully it won't try to downshift. I'd be stoked with 315whp but mine will probably be a little lower due to lower gears and looser converter. Thanks for the post, will still be good for comparisons.

I think they take into account gear ratios....but I'm not sure about that....

I thought yours might dyno lower than others due to the converter...I bet that converter is less efficient, even though it stalls higher and allows you to run a quicker 1/4 mile...typically when they make a "loose" converter from a factory one they are not as efficient.

Yeah, I'm not sure on the whole converter thing. I've never had a sproty vehicle that was auto before this one. And I as far as the dyno correcting for gearing, I've been told both ways. I hope they do but I'm not sure.

yeah I honestly don't know either....I've been told so many different things it's not even funny....but I THINK that it depends on the type of dyno, and some can correct and some can't (it has to do with how the dyno measures the torque.....)

What I get out of all of it is the operator of the dyno is what matters....

I've seen lingenfelter vettes dyno at like 400 hp lol and I think they are closer to 1000 hp...

I've also been told dyno's are basically only good for tracking changes on a particular vehicle...

The 1.00:1 gear is the real 3rd, or 4th in manual shift mode! You will hit the limiter if you run it in that gear!

He has a 2012, I think it has the 65rfe not the 545rfe, so his 3rd gear is same as our 2nd prime, 1.5:1

I wasn't in my Ram, the technician was

In fact i didn't go into the shop when the run was being done, i was standing at the side door of the building
Watching the straps struggling to hold the Ram down
I got a kick how the Ram squatted & then lifted up at each shift point

Well we'll know for sure tonight. I'll make a new thread with all the runs of my truck and my buddy's Titan. Either way, I'll have a good baseline that I can compare to later on.

My aftermarket Torque Convert (Edge 3000 stall), made little/no difference at all on the Dyno.

I think it's one of those mods that only shows up on a track time slip.
where I drop 2-3 tenths over my stock stall runs.

Our Dyno runs are done by our local CMR Tuner, who always runs Diablo Tuned Hemi's in 4th gear.
He said it's the best way to get a good read for a base line before he tunes them.
A third gear pull, although it reads higher at 1:1, makes for a much shorter run and often the truck tries to kick down into 2nd prime throwing numbers off even further.

Yes, that's the Key right there

Here's my baseline run Run with my higher stall TC compared to my buds QC with stock 2300 stall converter...

Both trucks with similar intake/exhaust/Diablo TrinityTuner
Both are 10' Hemi 4x4's with 3.55 gears. RC vs QC
Mine: Airiad intake Fastman TB, Magnaflow CatBack, stock 20's w Heavier Terra Grapplers
His: K&N drop-in, Magnaflow Mufflex 14", stock 20's w G/Y tires

My HP 309.03 / TQ 347.52
(slight stumble at the start trying to paddle the throttle to avoid downshifting)

Friends QC

HP 303.97 / TQ 348.17

Here's his run on YouTube ...
