Was thinking of trading in my 09 CC bighorn 4x4 for 12' longhorn edition. I love the interior of the Longhorns, and how they are loaded. My 09 is paid for, and has most everything I need, and only has 14'800 mi, and has the lifetime powertrain warranty. What to do?? Anybody out there with a longhorn edition..what did you pay for it bottom line?? Im not sure off hand what the rebates are now, but it would have to be a pretty good discount to make it happen. I would be looking for a 4x4 crew again..opinions??

not much difference b/t the '09s and the '12s. I'd wait one more year for the '13s b/c that's when the 8 speed transmissions are supposed to be out.

although you have such a new, nice, low mileage truck that's paid off with a great warranty! Are the extra few options really worth all the money?

Good point..I was thinking the only way is if they had huge rebates going..but waiting for that 13' with a 8sp is even a better point. I had not thought of that. Thanks for the info.

yeah I hear you...I'd love to trade mine in and get a 2013 express down the road...but it's just not cost effective lol. Wish I would have known the express was coming out only 6 months after I bought mine but oh well, I still love my truck...

good advice by CHVKLR, in your situation you might as well wait for the 2013 MY. the Longhorn package is really nice but the one thing i don't like are the 'saddlebag' pockets on the back of the front seats. that's a little cheesy IMO.

and would add that you'll take quite the money hit on the "used" truck, making those few Longhorn options even more expensive!
