Default Blower motor speed

I searched the threads here but found no answer specific to my problem so here goes:

My blower motor was oeprating fine on all speeds up until 1 day ago. When I got into the vehicle and went to turn on the AC, none of the speed selection on the blower switch work except for the highest. I checked every damn fuse and relay under the hood and all are fine. Any thoughts as to what I'm missing from an electrical check perspective or is the whole blower speed switch faulty?

Sounds like the blower motor resistor went out, it is what the wires plug into on the blower motor, held on by 2 screws. I believe they run about $100-$125

I just removed the blower motor and see the 2 screws you are referencing, but don't see any way of accessing anything internal to the blower by remving those two screws. It is a completely molded housing. I'm assuming I'll have to remove the rotating blower and go at it from that way. May just be easier to go to a local junkyard and get an operational blower motor that way and replace the whole thing. Thanks for the quick response.
