I have two labs, and have tried a ton of things to protect my seats (and furniture). What we have concluded is that the canvas type covers/tarps/throws/whatever you call them work the best. I just tuck it behind the seat/headrests, and tuck it in the seat crack, and it drapes all the way onto the floor to the back of the front seats. It is very think so the claws don't go through it (that's the problem with sheets). Also it sort of holds/traps the hair to it. I just wash them in the washer every once in a while. We put them on our couches and bed as well as the dogs can't resist while we are at work...They can be had at lowes/home depot/walmart, and are relatively cheap. Last damn near forever.

I bought a 6'x9' canvas tarp in the paint department at Wally World for $10. Great price, size and easy to wash. Thanks!

I ended up getting one at Home Depot the other day too. Amazing how well it traps the hair!

Thanks for the tip!

No problem glad it worked for you! We tried a million things and found this to be the best.

caninecovers.com make a nice seat cover. I use the semi-custon one on the passenger seat and it's workd very well. Well made, fits well but costs a bit more than the old flannel sheet.
