Hi everyone..I'm new on here! I bought a 98 Ram 1500 for my son and I'm trying to get it in good shape for him. Not much mechanical experience but I'm eager to learn and have done many things already by learning on youtube! haha. BUT I can't figure out where the adjustment screw is for the headlights regarding left and right orientation. I'm going to have to replace the passenger side headlight assembly because the up/down screw casing is cracked and I can't accurately adjust the light at all. Did try shoving a wood shim in there but it just won't stay in place very long. The other light is shining off to the outside edge of the road and I need to fix that but can't find that screw. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hello It appears that some threads are slow to get a response not sure why but in answer to your guestion the screw is in the upper right side (facing) of the right head light(sitting in the truck) and opposite for the other.
Thanks for the quick answer. I found it (there was alot of dirt and gunk caked into the torx head of the screw which is why I didn't recognize as a screw in the first place! lol) Now the truck can "see" straight again!
