Mike, that looks amazing! The best thing I can make is bacon and I do it in the oven. Turns out perfect every time.

They are great on the grill, a bit of olive oil to just coat them, garlic salt... and if you want more garlic flavor use garlic powder. mmmmm

I have one of those microwave bacon things, but it doesn't seem like the bacon turns out as crispy as I like it. But I will say, there was hardly a mess with it. The oven method takes time and it's pretty messy. I drain the grease off the bacon about 4 times during the 20-25 minute cook time in the oven. Once it's done cooking, I'll take another cookie sheet and line it with paper towels, place the bacon on it and then use a damp paper towel to soak up all the grease on both sides of the bacon. What a mess. It would be handy if my truck ran purely on bacon grease, because I have quite the collection of it now.

LOL, The baconator is a type of stoneware with deep ridges on the bottom, you can cook 2 batches of bacon before you have to drain it, but really simple and the bacon does not sit in the grease, it drips to the bottom, just pour the grease off at one corner, load it with more bacon, hit the microwave for 5 minutes and a little longer for extra crispy. I like mine chewy ( wife claims its still raw...lol )
