[QUOTE=CdnoilRAM;629492]I would highly recommend adding an amp, swapping the door speakers, and if you want, add a sub. This alone will net you a much better sound quality for easily under $2000.

WOW. I want a decent sounding system but not one that causes me to max out my credit cards or make a loan at the bank.
I don't care to wake the neighbors or bust an eardrum but I would like it to sound cleaner and clearer. How about easily under 500.00?

I was thinking of possibly swapping out my speakers only for hopefully a few hundred at most....even then it's really not worth it to me lol

Kicker makes great speakers if you are looking for a cheaper route. Their KS series are very nice. I am running a Sony deck ($129.99), 2- Kicker KS 6x9 in the front ($199.99), 2- Kicker 5 1/4 in the back ($80.00), a cheap 300w amp off Craigslist ($40.00), and a Ram single 10" sub box w/ a 10" JL Sub (Craigslist $60.00). The system sounds great!!!! Total cost: $509.98. A good place to buy your speakers and deck online is: www.onlinecarstereo.com. They have good customer service and great pricing.
