Default Driving lights location

Hey Ram fans, I am considering a set of driving lights and I am wondering if anyone has mounted them behind the grill and if so, would the honeycomb pattern of the grill blocks too much light or not. I just don't want a bull bar setup on my truck. Appreciate your input!

Here's mine:

I'd say you lose about 30% of the light having them here. Only time I'm really going to "use" them is when I'm in the country and it's really dark with no street lights and at that point, any extra light will help.

Just did the same thing not long ago - very easy install in my opinion.

I find the amount of light coming out to be more than adequate.

Here's a few random pictures of my install, the light coming out like turbovsix said is adequate.
There are no shadows or anything, was worth the extra cash to me
