Default Speed sensor bolt won't back out.

Yep picked up some parts had the codes read and says I need a sensor. Figure while I'm down there replacing the second 02 sensor in as many days. I might as well get it too, but the bolt will not back out. Spins over and over but no dice. Also there is a double connector ended cord from a part(sensor also maybe) in the trans forward from it but very near by that has a wire pulled also.

Any info, ideas or help appreciated.

Up date: So I went a head and removed the sensor housing (guess that's what it's called) still could not get it loose guess I will try and replace the whole thing. Still wondering what that unplugged/ broken connection part is and what it does. see loose wire in picture

Holy Crap! You think it's stripped? Try prying on the bolt from the backside as you ratchet it out. It might catch on some threads and finally come out.

Thanks for the response

Its absolutely stripped. Good idea about the back pressure. I tried it. No go. Took the assembly off and too the bench (tail gait) tried high speed with the impact. No good. Tried beating a lil space between the bolts shoulder and the to be replaced sensor. Luckily nothing got broken including a thumb.

Looking at the picture wonder if prior owner didn't try and heat it to grab threads. would not be near as If it had actually worked to bad there are no threads in the sensor part.

I am just gonna find one in the u pick it or local JY. Maybe a there will be a nice slider lock there also.

Anyone got a name for the mystery part with the detached wire hanging out of the connector. Can't seem to find a damn thing from the number on the label in picture.

Well I got it fixed today went buy the local parts yard and got a speed sensor adapter(figured out what its called) and its bolt! Off of a 96 5.9 auto trans that was marked saying it come out of a Cota ? I had already paid for a sensor but the they its SS in for a total of $37.50. Guess now I have a spare if needed.
