Default Moving Rear View Mirror

Anyone attempted to move their rear view mirror a bit higher. It sits low enough to block a lot of view. I've put them back on before, with the stuff you buy from autozone or the like, but never pulled one off. Anyone have any experience with this at all? Advice?

I have removed mine before with a thin single edge razor blade, just take your time and just wiggle it under and around till the mount pops off.... all you need is some rubbing achohol/or acetone to clean the area, then use super glue to re attach it ( one or 2 small drops ) and a piece of masking tape to hold it in place till it dries, normally I wait a day to remount the mirror but it should be good to go after a couple hours. I always used super glue and never had one fall off, where I did have one fall off with the stuff from the auto store.

My 09 has a double ball and socket mount. I was able to get mine high enough with that adjustment. I don't know if you get a good bond on the painted strip on the windshield.

The razor blade trick works. So does some adhesive remover.

YEah, I would just use a razor knife and take your time. It should pop-off. I'd be interested in some before-n-after pic's. I might like the idea myself.
