Here in Ontario, the highest posted speed limit is 100km/hr or 60 mph.
If you get caught for 50km/hr or 30mph over you get your vehicle confiscated and loose your license for 7 days and get a huge fine.
The only time I go that fast is on my bike for a short blast, but I carefully pick my roads.
Just don't get caught

This big hemi got me one ticket already, I toned her down a bit untill then.

Our highways up north here are 90km/hr and it feels damn slow.

If your truck was a year older, you could eliminate it with a programmer.

Unfortunately, Dodge decided to encrypt the software for 2011+ vehicles and the aftermarket is working to crack the code.

Wow that sucks! I think I'd go crazy if they did that out here

Unhooking the speed wouldn't work?

If the pcm can't read the speed sensor, how can it tell how fast your going.

I cant imagine it would
I am sure there are dependencies that exist on the cpu to ensure everything must work together to work at all
unhooking will only cause the speedo and possibly other gauges to read nothing
A dependency in this case could be that if a disconnect of guages is triggered then the computer may not function at all...rendering your truck immobile.

I am no expert but I am sure it is something to that that effect

An obliging tech could tell the truck it had smaller tires and increase the top speed.

Factory 20's are 634 rpm per mile. You could change that to say 700 rpm and that would raise top speed to 116 mph. You would have to live with a truck that goes 10 faster than the speedo shows though. It would also make the odometer read low.

Also disconnected the speed cable its all trigged in the pcm the truck just wont go past 106 unless your going down a long hill
