Default Rear wheel arch 2004

Both my rear wheel arches are showing bubbling of the paint on the bed sides just abouve the lip at about the 12 oclock position . Metal underneath doesnt seem to be corroding but there is a doubel skin of metal there. Is this a known problem and can anyone suggest best way to tackle it pease Many thanks Paul

Sounds like rust. Since it is bubbling, it won't hurt to remove some of the paint to check and make sure.

The fix is to remove the paint & primer, inspect the metal, kill the rust, patch as necessary, paint and clear.

like they said above, there is no easy way, just cut and fix. Ive seen a lot of pickups around that year with rust in that area.
