Default Headlight conversion?

I got a new 2011 3500 4X4 crewcab ST with a 6.7 in March. I already have more than 21 k miles on it

I love the truck except...
Very poor headlights.
Can an ST be upgraded to quad lamps? I know the parts are expensive, but not as costly as a wreck. Do I have to replace the harness too? What about any switches or controls / computers?

To be honest the quad lights suck bad too. To better mine I just installed some really good bulbs and adjusted them to point up a bit, and itmade a huge difference. A lot of the guys are upgrading to the HID lights, but I don't see the huge difference and it's hard to justify spending that much on headlights, at least in my mind. I am thinking you could just buy the quad lights and swap them out but again it's not going to be cheap unless you talk to someone that has installed the HID benzels and wants to sell their original quads, maybe try using some much better bulbs. I know recon makes some awesome replacement bulbs that are 5500k and only run about $ 30 a pair. good luck man.

Doug pretty much said it. My 1500 Sport has the quads and they were horrible until I went with HID's. Before the HID route I installed PIAA bulbs and that was huge improvement. The PIAA's are pricey but it's cheaper than the new lens HID route.

Upgrade them to HID's and youll see the greatest single improvement of your life. If you want to get real fancy you can have one of the sponsors put in a set of projectors and then a 6-8000K set of 50-55W HIDs and REALLY brighten up the road!

The price of HIDs now is so cheap that it is almost silly not to go with them first. Especially being in ORI think you can get DDM kits for <$50? (i forget what I paid for mine). If you ened help selecting which kit is right for you or install trouble shooting a bunch of us on the forum have done it and are more than willing to help

Hey, quick question and this has probably been beaten to death on here, but can you just replace the bulbs with the HID conversion kits or do you/ should you get the whole new headlight housing too? Just curious to know and to know if it will really be that big of a difference and worth changing, thanks.

Thanks everyone. Think I'll try the PIAA option first that Stump3r did. That was the suggestion at Northwest Jeep/Dodge in PDX also.
