On my jeep there is a sensor on the combination valve called the pressure differential switch. Looks nothing like this but its in a similar location. My Brake warning and ABS lights are both lit up in the cab. The rear position sensor is fine so is my speedo. I dunno?

I don't know what you are calling a rear position sensor, would this be the ABS sensor on the rear pinion? I just changed mine $ 36 at carquest $67 at autovalue, I recommend Ebay, there they can be had really inexpensively. Anyhow, when I changed the rear ABS sensor, it cured my 98 of its ABS and brake warning lights... Ive never seen those sensors attached to the underhood brake components fail, unles Ive smashed em changing engines, etc. Have you blown a brake line recently? If the pedal feels good, and the system hasnt been opened up, my vote would be for the ABS sensor on the left top of the rear axle pinion... What tripped me into figuring out my problem was my warning lights would go out for awhile after dipping the rear axle in lake superior launching/ recovering my boat this summer.

Thanks Screamintrashcan...I love that name!!!
I forgot to post an update...the sensor/switch was a pressure switch that was located on the secondary valve off of my master cylander. That said, one of my son's friend's stepdad works as a parts guy for a Chrysler dealership (what are the odds) and he couldn't find it anywhere in his parts list...without buying a new secondary that is! But lucky for me, he had a Dodge Dakota out back that was going to be scrapped and low and behold...it had the exact same sensor as the one I was looking for!!!! Score!!! He swapped my broken one out with the good one and I got a freebee out of the deal!!!! However, my ABS issues still ensued and so I took your advice and I'll be damned...no ABS light. Thanks again!
