Default Impending FlowMaster 40 Install- piping question

Morning Gents,

I'm looking to swap out my stock muffler (def on it's way out) with a Flowmaster Super 44. Currently, the exhaust piping goes from the muffler, over the read axle, and the tip is behind the rear wheel.

I'm wondering, since I'm replacing my 34-inch stock muffler with the Flowmaster (only ~19 inches), would I reduce significant back pressure by having the exhaust tip come out before the rear wheel (getting rid of a few bends in the process)?

Anyone try this? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on this idea from my research.

Also, would there be any reason that I wouldn't be able to install the Super 44? I've matched up the piping diameter (2.5") and also the inlet/outlet placements (diagonally offset). Wondering if anything else would prohibit this being done?

Thanks in advance, happy Tuesday.
